Il n’y a pas une journée sans entendre ou lire ces mots sur les différents médias mais aussi dans toujours plus d’articles scientifiques. L’IA est associée à de très nombreux domaines allant de la reconnaissance de la parole, de l’écriture, du visage à la conduite autonome en passant par l’aide au diagnostic médical. C’est aussi, pour la France, un domaine stratégique qui fait maintenant partie des secteurs protégés sur le plan économique mais qui soulève également des questions éthiques.</div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; text-decoration: none;">Pour ce qui est du domaine de l’imagerie, les algorithmes d’apprentissage automatique ou profond vont permettre d’extraire, analyser ou classer des caractéristiques pour proposer notamment des outils d’aide à la décision, dont il va falloir démontrer qu’ils améliorent la prise en charge des patients et la prédiction enfin idéalement à plus long terme la prévention. Un grand nombre de travaux réalisés à CREATIS exploitent désormais ces techniques issues de l’IA et ce nombre va croissant. Les milieux imagés, soumis à des impulsions laser, créent une onde ultrasonore dont l'amplitude dépend de l'absorption optique des tissus. L'utilisation de plusieurs longueurs d'onde permet de mesurer l'évolution multispectrale du signal photoacoustique pour chaque tissu. Le développement d'algorithmes de traitement des données permet alors de discriminer les tissus et/ou de quantifier leur <b>concentration en oxygène dans les tissus</b>. <div class="text" style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><b><font face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 15px;">VALORISATION: </font></b><div style="text-align: justify; "><font face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 13px;">Le travail de thèse CIFRE <b>d'Edwin Courtial</b> qui concernait la fabrication de fantômes physiques de l'aorte, patient-spécifiques, utilisant une technique additive par impression 3D a donné lieu à un brevet national: <a href="https://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/a8/c4/f0/328037af077d52/FR3053975A1.pdf">FR1656802</a>: </font><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><b>Matériau composite silicone pour la fabrication de réplique de tissu vasculaire.</b> <b>Inventeurs</b> : <b>Edwin Courtial, René Fulchiron (Institut de Matériaux Polymères), Maciej Orkisz(CREATIS), Philippe Douek(CREATIS), Laurent Huet (Segula). </b></span><font face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 13px;">Il s'agissait de trouver des matériaux synthétiques dont les caractéristiques morphologiques et les propriétés mécaniques soient proches de celles déterminées sur un patient. Il fallait également définir un procédé de fabrication adapté, rapide et peu coûteux. De tels fantômes permettent d'étudier expérimentalement les relations entre le comportement mécanique de la paroi aortique et les caractéristiques hémodynamiques du flux sanguin, d'acquérir des images destinées à la validation d'algorithmes de traitement sur des géométries réalistes et bien connues, mais aussi de réaliser des entraînements préopératoires aux interventions chirurgicales, telles que le traitement endovasculaire.</font></div><div style="text-align: justify; "><div style="text-align: justify;"><font face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 13px;">L'étude, basée sur un modèle de comportement mécanique hyper-viscoélastique a permis la sélection et le développement de matériaux élastomères de type silicone et la définition de la composition idéale imitant le comportement désiré. Les paramètres hyper-viscoélastiques de la paroi vasculaire ont été identifiés par une méthode d'imagerie ultrasonore couplées à des</font><span style="text-align: start;"><font face="Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 12px;"> mesures de changements de distance (élongation), de diamètre et d’épaisseur, au sein d'une interface graphique permettant de le faire interactivement en un temps acceptable avec une précision suffisante. </span></font></span><span style="font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">. équipe, réduire les nombre d'emails, et a fait ses preuves aussi bien en entreprise (IBM, Oracle) que dans
les Universités (Harvard, King's college).</font></font></div><div><font face="Arial" style="font-size: 13px;">- <b>Engrenages</b> (coordinateurs : Anthony Merle et Florine Gall) dont l’objectif est la coordination globale de l’ensemble des 5 autres commissions.</font></div><div><font face="Arial" style="font-size: 13px;">Près de 3 mois après leur création, les commissions ont avancé chacune à leur rythme. Des évènements ont été organisés par la commission convivialité, des outils sont en cours de réalisation pour l’accueil des nouveaux arrivant et des réflexions continuent d’être menées afin d’accentuer la transversalité professionnelle. Le tout étant coordonné grâce à de nouveaux outils de partages plus ou moins adoptés à l’heure d’aujourd’hui.</font></div><div><font face="Arial" style="font-size: 13px;">Espérons que l’investissement de chacun dans ces commissions permettent une évolution moderne vers une meilleure harmonisation des recherches et des énergies.
