<b>11<sup>th</sup>Annual Loma Linda Workshop on Particle Imaging and Radiation Treatment Planning, Loma Linda, California,

</b></span><span style="color: currentcolor;"><b><u>August 4 – August 6, 2025</u></b></span><span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33);"><b>.</b> As in previous years, the workshop will be held the

<b>week after the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Annual Meeting</b> this year in Washington, DC.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">

<span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">The workshop offers a <b>limited in person participation</b>, but we are still quite open to accept in -person attendees. Most participants will likely join on Zoom (registration includes a personal Zoom link). The in-person

 meeting retains the original spirit of our workshops since 2015. <b>Therefore, we encourage you to come in person to Loma Linda this year and enjoy the hot and dry weather around that time of the year</b>.</span></p>

<span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">The summer workshops at Loma Linda University are interdisciplinary meetings that bring together applied mathematicians, computer scientists, medical physicists, radiobiologists, and radiation oncologists. The workshops

 are <b>informal</b>: <b>no workshop fees, no parallel sessions, no strictly timed talks</b>.</span></p>

</b>followed by technical or research presentations from students, postdocs, and senior researchers in the fields of

<b>medical physics, computer science and engineering, and mathematical algorithms

</b>related to applications in <b>proton and ion therapy</b>.  Special topics such as

<b>radiobiology</b>, <b>BNCT and FLASH research</b> are welcome. Participation without presentation and

<b>attending for learning purposes</b> is welcome as well.</span></p>

<span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">There will be many <b>discussion opportunities</b> after each talk and during coffee and lunch breaks. We are also planning a

<b>Loma Linda Campus walking tour</b>, a <b>visit of the first Proton Treatment Center</b> (open since 1990), a

<b>workshop dinner</b> (on own cost) and <b>a Saturday excursion</b> into the local/regional mountains for participants who arrive early.</span></p>
