Welcome to the Plane-wave Imaging evaluation framework for Medical Ultrasound. The aim of the PICMUS evaluation framework is to provide datasets and a matlab library to allow a fair comparison of the performance of methods designed for the reconstruction of ultrasound images from the transmission of steered plane-waves.

If you want to participate, you can download the training dataset along with the corresponding evaluation matlab library, generate a p-code of your final method (the source of your code is thus not accessible) and submit the corresponding files that will be used to generate results on blind datasets to avoid parameter tuning effects. More information is available in the about section.

The final goal of this initiative is to publish an article where all the different results will be presented. We are looking forward to numerous active participations. The PICMUS evaluation framework organizers,
