The imaging and the spectroscopy RMN establish(constitute) reference techniques for the medical diagnosis at the man and for the non-invasive investigation of physiopathological models to the animal. These techniques allow to realize fine tissular characterizations and to establish functional and metabolic images of the main organs (brain, heart, lungs, muscles) with an excellent spatial and temporal resolution. The general objectives of the thematic team concern the development, the implementation and the application of techniques, methods and innovative protocols in MRI and in vivo SRM on animal models and at the man. The themes of search(research) for the team will be centred on medical problems bound(connected) for the main part to the cardiovascular and lung pathologies where exist important needs in methodological developments and for the realization of original preclinical protocols of imaging.
