Ultrasound imaging is NOT a domain in which it is easy to obtain "spectacular" images. Here are two images that could be obtained while doing our reasearch. Since I find them nice I present them in this small gallery.

This Figure represents a double-oscillating point spread function (PSF) also called transverse oscillations PSF. The colormap was suggested by Svetoslav Nikolov who was working at DTU when I did my doctoral mobility in Copenhaguen [1][2].

Based on our work on sparse 2D matrix arrays optilmization Emmanuel Roux proposed this nice figure of a sparse 2D array and a directivity pattern [3].
