Short bio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I received my Electrical Engineering degree from ISTASE (now Telecom Saint-Etienne<\/em>)  in 2001, my M. Sc. degree (major Image Processing) from the University of Saint-Etienne in 2001, and my Ph.D. degree (Image Processing) from the National Institute for Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA-Lyon, France) in 2005. In 2023, I obtained the HDR (Habilitation \u00e0 Diriger des Recherches) at INSA-Lyon \/ Universit\u00e9 de Lyon with the doctoral school EEA (more details here<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been with CREATIS, a joint laboratory of the \u00ab\u00a0Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique<\/em> \u00bb (CNRS), the \u00ab\u00a0Institut National de la Sant\u00e9 et de la Recherche M\u00e9dicale<\/em> \u00bb (Inserm), the \u00ab\u00a0Institut National des Sciences Appliqu\u00e9es de Lyon<\/em> \u00bb (INSA Lyon), and the \u00ab Universit\u00e9 de\u00a0 Lyon<\/em> \u00bb since 2001. My research interests are in medical image segmentation, clustering, and filtering, particularly in methods involving feature space and scale-space approaches and -of course- deep learning approaches. I am engaged in the Myriad team. I have contributed to 20 papers and co-supervised 6 PhD students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
