HI, Christos,

I'm affraid you're using a very old and deprecated version of gdcm (i.e 
gdcm 1.3)

Better have a look at :
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/gdcm/index.php?title=GDCM_Release_2.0
and go to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gdcm/files/gdcm%202.x/GDCM%202.0.16/
to get last release.

and mail your questions to :
gdcm-developers at lists.sourceforge.net
