Patrick Clarysse received a PhD in 1991 from the Scientific and Technological University of Lille, France. Since 1992, he is with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at CREATIS Lab, University of Lyon, CNRS UMR 5220, Inserm U1294, Lyon, France. Currently, he is Research Director and Deputy Director of CREATIS. His primary research interests are in the bioengineering and medical image analysis fields, including medical image processing workflows, multidimensional/multimodal image segmentation and registration, motion estimation and biomechanical modeling with applications to the 3D analysis and modeling of the heart function and thoracic structures. Patrick Clarysse has coauthored more than 150 papers in international journals and conferences, and coedited 3 books and 3 conference proceedings.

I am the initiator with P. Croisille of the inTag software integrated as a plug-in in OsiriX software under MAC-OS (http://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/inTag/). This software is designed for rapid integrated analysis of tissue-labelled MRI sequences. Initially developed within MATLAB in collaboration with CARIM Lab in Maastricht, it has been ported to an OsiriX plugin with the Axinoe Company and made available since January 2010. It is freely accessible through a scientific collaboration. Please visit the inTag web site: http://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/inTag

I am involved in the software suite for cardiac MRI image analysis: inTag, CMRSegTools, CMRDiffTools. Information available at: https://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/osirix-dev/CardiacTools.html

Through several thesis, we developed software for the dynamic segmentation and tracking of the heart within cardiac MRI sequences, motion estimation and image registration. Some of them are available on demand.
