Summary

I am a teacher in the technical field of Communication Systems and a researcher in medical image processing.

For a span of eight years, I served as the manager of the apprenticeship engineer program within the Telecommunications department.
Additionally, I held a three-year responsibility for managing the internship program for students in their fourth and fifth years of engineering studies.

I’ve recently returned to academic research with a strong interest in applying deep learning to medical imaging — especially for brain MRI analysis.

    My current work focuses on:
  • Generating synthetic brain MRIs from textual descriptions, especially for healthy subjects to improve training datasets. In the long term, the goal is to introduce multiple sclerosis lesions directly through text-based prompts, enabling the generation of clinically realistic pathological cases for training and validation.
  • Segmenting multiple sclerosis lesions and tracking their progression over time using 3D neural networks.
  • Analyzing microscopic images of insect cells to detect and count symbiotic bacteria using deep learning.
  • These projects are part of ongoing collaborations and master’s thesis supervisions, supported by internal research grants. They aim to make image analysis more robust, interpretable, and adapted to clinical and biological questions.
