I received in 1998 the engineering degree (Electrical Engineering) and in 2002 the Ph.D degree (Image Processing), both from the National Institute for Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA-Lyon, France). My research interests include multiresolution analysis, compression and resampling and high level understanding of 3D triangular surface meshes. My Ph.D Thesis is available here (PDF)

Software / Logiciels :

  • Wavemesh 2.1, a (Linux and MS-Windows) demonstration software of 3D mesh compression is available here. Acknowledgement: This program uses the range encoder from Michael Schindler for file encoding.
  • ACVD 1.1, a (Linux and MS-Windows) demonstration software for surface remeshing is available here.

Acknowledgments: these demonstration programs use the Visualization ToolKit (VTK) (www.vtk.org). You do not need to download the library, it is already included in the executables)
